Valparaiso – Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest hosts this fun and practical workshop that covers local Native American history and common local plants that have been used for food; includes short walking tour.
Fortville – Learn the art of easy, countertop pickling in this one-hour class at Fishers AgriPark. Each participant will be given cucumber, pickling spices and a mason jar to make their own batch of pickles. Registration required.
