Launched in April 2021, our Spring Dinner Series brings together a dozen chefs for four weeks of collaborative multi-course dinners at Highland Golf & Country Club in Indianapolis. From passed appetizers to fabulous entrees and killer desserts – all paired with wines – the dinners have become a springtime tradition. Working with our presenting sponsor Ivy Tech Community College, these dinners brought people back together following the pandemic and reconnected local food fans with some of their favorite chefs. They continue to build community, showcase Indiana farms and products and provide opportunities for culinary students to gain experience as well. Indianapolis sadly lost one of its favorite chefs, Greg Hardesty, not long after he cooked for the finale of the 2021 Spring Dinner Series. A mentor to many, Greg’s impact was felt throughout the city. To honor his memory, Culinary Crossroads created the Greg Hardesty Culinary Scholarship at Ivy Tech, and our Spring Dinner Series now raises funds for the scholarship. We were pleased to recently make our first awards – two full-year scholarships for the 2023-24 school year. You can read more about the scholarship – and contribute to the fund – here.
