Bonge’s Tavern in Perkinsville, Ind., right on the Hamilton/Madison County line, has been sold to chef and restaurateur Jake Burgess, of Fortville’s FoxGardin restaurant group. Burgess isn’t planning big changes for the destination restaurant known for customers tailgating in the parking lot before dinner, but you may notice some menu and service updates and a three-way liquor license.
Also in Hamilton County, Northbrook Brewing has opened on Main Street in Arcadia.
Bloomington’s Upland Brewing just had its grand opening for its newest location in Clay Terrace in Carmel.
Stixx Cigar Lounge & Bar just opened recently on Fort Wayne Avenue in downtown Indy in the former Saffron Cafe spot.
Locally owned Command Coffee, located at College Avenue and Fall Creek Parkway, will be opening another location in the former Starbucks location on Monument Circle in Indianapolis.
