Wolfies Northern Woods Grill has opened in Pendleton just off the I-69 exit. The first Wolfsie’s opened at Morse Reservoir in 2004 and they have several other locations.
A new Indian restaurant chain, Desi Chowrastha, which has about a dozen locations, mostly in Texas, will be opening on 82nd Street in the Clearwater Shops in Indy focusing on the food and culture of various Indian cities.
The new expansion at Blue Mind coffee shop on 38th Street near College Avenue in Indianapolis will be opening Dec. 9, and the shop is now open on Mondays too.
John’s Famous Stew, a fixture on Kentucky Avenue in Indy, has announced it will be relocating in the spring. It will remain open in its original location, where it’s been since 1911, until the end of April. A recent post on social media mentioned a possible location in Irvington.
Duke’s, the honkytonk bar on South West Street in Indianapolis, announced that a new buyer will be taking over the business. It will close for the month of January and will reopen in February with more music and a menu update.
